There are 6 listings on eBay for  various Lesters  right now, guess how many Kimtabs there are? That's right, none.

Maybe because all he kimtabs cracked or disintegrated?
I know more hen one person that would never think of using one.

Also we are talking about different things.
One is a race wheel that requires custom parts to work.  The other is a bolt on item.

Clearly different markets they appeal to.

You know what cracks me up (no pun intended), I have never seen a broken Kimtab displayed anywhere, ever, to show how bad they are about cracking or disintegrating. It reminds me of all the horror stories I hear about powder coating alloy wheels and how the heat will weaken the aluminum to failure. Yet I have never seen one documented case where powder coating cure temps had any effect on the breakage of the wheel. It's ignorant people who want to blame everyone but themselves for their issues.

Good LORD, nearly $2K!

Henry Abe's are cool and all, but that's a LOT of money.

Those things have been listed for months now! I doubt he ever sells them.

I have seen  a bike with three dented Kimtabs.. Tires still held air , but i think it had tubes.
I was impressed by how much damage they sustained, but did not seem to crack..

Sorry bumping this again, just installed new SKFs on my set and realized I'm missing the snap ring retainer for the rear 18" wheel. Does anyone know if its a standard size replacement or special? Stock spec bearings worked perfectly btw.
