1974 cb550 carb rebuild
« on: January 18, 2015, 07:18:44 AM »
Just cleaned a set of carbs for a 74. Does anyone know what the O ring sizes are for the main jet, the float needle seat and the float bowl? Honda wants far too much for a kit but I can buy good quality O rings for pennies.

If all else fails, you can get them for a good price on 4into1.com

That kit on ebay is a good deal. Ordered it, so I hope the O rings are decent quality. I'll take them in to the hydraulics place where I usually get O rings and have them measured for future reference. Thanks for pointing me at it.

I ordered mine from http://www.theoringstore.com
You want the Buna-N 90 type for good fuel resistance. Pretty good prices.
