Worry too much on these things, but this time I'm kinda freaked. Not in a go build a bomb shelter kinda way, but nonetheless still taken back.

What is alarming if the test does have a place in reality, is that Kim Jong Il is one crazy mofo. No doubt about that. The thing with crazy people is when they get backed into a corner they do one of two things: 1. Start rocking back and fourth 2. Do something F&%&ing crazy. He might just take the latter.  No one in the international community is going to be happy about this one (if it does happen to be true), and I'm surprised (kinda not really) they even went against China (read: biggest trading partner), one this one. Just goes to show the instability of North Korea, and why they shouldn't have nuclear capability.

There are different kinds of diplomacy and they have different consequences. It's a tricky situation with N. Korea, If we cut off his supplies of oil and other aid, then we risk killing millions because Kim Jong Il will either let them starve, go on some mass murder killing spree to let the world know he's serious, or start selling nukes to the taliban. If we go with Mick, or Mr. Breeze most eloquent options, then we risk a couple dirty bombs, sent our way. (they may have as many as 7 nukes left).

I was thinking about this - what if it was all a fake? Something that the Bush Administration made up to divert attention from the child molestors in the GOP?
