Was a toolmaker in a past life by the looks of his work. I have on of his stage 3 heads on my GS750/840 Suzuki.
He has 2 more of my heads waiting

but most of all He is just a nice guy to deal with and I hope one day that I get to shake his hand and drink a beer with him

cheers Mike

Hi, I am new to this forum and learning how to navigate through it. I am wondering if anyone knows how to contact the machinist Mike Rieck. I need headwork on my K8. From what I have read, he is the man.
Thanks

You have read correctly ;)  He has done a bunch of things for me, often painstakingly ressurecting vintage race parts along the way, top notch work for sure.

Sure you don't need more cc too?  cam....better springs, lightened and balanced crank with better rods.....
He can take care of that too and more from various vendors in USA like APE, CycleX, Dynoman, Megacycle... ;) One final shipping makes everything easier.

I had dinner with the legend about 4 years ago. Very nice guy and he has a great shop with engines being worked on around the place. Beautiful home, wife and kids. If you are lucky you will get to meet him.
