1978 cb550 rear fender

anyone know if the CB550 rear fenders are interchangeable between all years?
I need one for a 1978 and was wondering if any year would fit

did you cross reference part numbers on cmsnl?

numbers do not match and the schematics are way different.
looks like they would not be compatible
