Bought this bike as a complete basket case. I had never even heard of one before, just spotted the fuel tank in an old guys shed and thought wow! what a cool fuel tank.
They are/were a 2 stroke 350cc motor with disc valves. The carburettors more or less squirt the fuel straight into the crankcases. Look at the pictures, you can't see the carbs. They are underneath the engine covers.
Although only 350cc they were capable of astonishing speed back in the day.
Other good points.....stainless steel fenders, twin leading shoe front brake, killer looks.
Front shocks had the springs on the outside!
Got the thing pieced together and running, then sold it.
Don't think 2 strokes are for me. Find em like riding a metal trash can full of loose nuts and bolts being shaken.

Oh yeah, they did not come out in purple. Only candy red or candy blue. This one had been painted purple by some previous owner. The paint was still pretty good and it seemed to match the fashion of the 60's so I was happy to leave it.
