Honda CB1100, bike with retro look is a beautiful looking bike and I can imagine to have one beside my CB750 K6.
Only one problem, 86Hp,  :( 571/543 lb. tank full/empty.  >:( >:(

At least 30HP missing. Closer to120HP would be perfect for me
Any easy and not too expensive upgrades available? +30Hp need other cams, right? The engine must be capable for much more.

Was just out to a friends of mine on Sunday who bought one of those this summer and loves it.Only thing he changed was the exhaust pipe. They are butter smooth, lots of good usable low end torgue and still plenty fast for everyday riding. We rode together also with me on my Kaw 900 Z1 and his bike is no slouch. I am sure there are things to make them faster but as is its a very good ride. Here are some of his toys, the CB1100 is the black bike.

That's a bike museum!  :D

CB1100 look really good with Yoshimura 4-1

CB1100 make me to drool!
http://www.fasterandfaster.net/2013/11/2014-honda-cb1100-cb1100-ex-unveiled.html

Funny, I want to same thing again as many years ago. Off with std pipes on with 4-1. If that will happen I'll take better care of the std pipes and save it for future well protected.
My CB750 however goes the other route, will have a new 4-4 exhaust and other details back to how it once looked like except more HP.

The CB1100 need to be a little bit wilder when it sounds a little bit to slow, even with 4-1. I have not tested one yet.

I was also wondering about this.  There is a pretty good ride review video on YouTube as well for the CB1100.  I was also digging on those Yoshi 4-1's, but check out YouTube for a MotoGPWerks CB1100 exhaust!  4-1 with a modern sportbike can.... sounds phenomenal (IMO)!  And as always, Redpath's pipes are a work of art.  My local dealership had a black CB1100 carryover about a month ago and was priced really well.  Just wish I was in the market at the time.  It is probably gone by now.  Maybe a couple years down the road, I'll be able to find a used, black 2014 CB1100 for a good price to park next to my 550 K2.  Double the displacement!

The CB1100 look better more I look. More HP and I should most likely have a plan getting one.
Some aftermarket parts, almost as for the CB750 SOHC back in the days except cams, pistons.......

Maybe the 2015's will be redesigned. Don't think they have been announced yet.

Agreed!
That MotoGPWerks Yoshimura replica exhaust finally fits correctly too.

For the US I'm pretty sure Honda has discontinued them....that's whats being said over at the CB1100 Forum.  Too bad if it's true :(

They sell kits for them to make them look more like a 750.

When I saw your friends pics of his bikes Eric I had to run out in my garage to make sure my 77 GL1000  was still there ;D. He has no trouble finding something to ride does he. Very nice stable of Honda's.

Eric do you like the CB1100 enough to get you one :-\

I had a chance to ride it last fall when we were out riding together but passed since it was still in its initial break in period and I lost a bike in a wreck once that I lent out so am leery on lending/ swapping etc.. Would hate to damage his new ride. Sean B is the only guy I have trusted since to take one out as far as my stash goes..  From what I saw on the road though and the way it fit me sitting on it I would do one.  In the real world how fast is really fast enough when your getting up to a "mature" age.
All of his bikes are super nice stock and clean but anxious to see his radical CB350 Cafe get done I sold him a couple years ago.

Exactly!
Thats retro CB750 SOHC. I do not need retro CB750 DOHC. I want laced wheels too!
I should mount Yoshimura when it look so clean without causing problem for passenger.  Protect and store OEM pipe for future use next time!
110-120HP as standard plus possibilty to upgrade with cams, pistons to reach 140-160HP. Power Commander is a must as first step when changing to 4-1, right?
