I am just North of NYC and just came in from walking the Dog. About an inch so far. It is supposed to hit here later tonight. My Sister in Law east of here has about 5 in.

Okay, with a single phone call I have blown off/ and accomplished everything I planned to have to do today.  No need to be some where, clean up, drive there to do it, back to the court, bla bla bla.

I'm off to ride.

I was surprise I didn't lose power in this storm. I usually lose power for about 6 days. Here in southern CT we got about 12". Not too bad, and it was light snow so easy to shovel. 36" in parts of Mass? That's a good dump.

Bobby,
I've driven the Merritt Pkwy when I used to live in Stamford,CT. as a child.I used to drive from Stamford to Milford on it every day.I love the section of bridge right next to Sikorsky Aircraft which crosses the Housatonic River.I've ridden it on a cycle plenty also and it's cool to look straight down through the bridge grate at the river below you while you're rolling;it kind of takes your breathe away too  :o :)

Yes I agree. That is just before I get on that #$%*ty I95 for the last miles of my trip. I like that bridge also.

They changed up that bridge a number of years ago. Now it's normal tarmac and safe, haha. No more metal grate that steers for you. A bit less fun in my opinion.

Yeah, they have great pizza. I go to New Haven a lot and I agree. As good for sure. This coming season I'll venture down to the Dew. If you see a fallen CB550 with a guy getting beat up next to it, be a friend and save me. Those Harley guys are scared of and get mad at things they don't understand. Although I did hear this last time I was there from two scary big dudes, "Oh my God, you're such a potato!" "No, you're a potato!!!" Doesn't seem as dangerous as it appears.

I think the dew used to be worse years ago, now they have decent food and a solid draft list. A little pricey for what it is though.  8)

I hear we are getting another significant storm early next week.

1978 Honda CB550K

I liked the bridge when it was dry on 2 wheels and moving at 55-60mph you didn't even see the 'grate' and it felt like I was just 'floating' hundreds of feet about the Housatonic on my M/C-nothing like it to make your heart jump.  ;D
The bridge has had many accidents over the years when it gets 'wet and slippery'...maybe that's why they paved it.
75' CB400F/'bunch o' parts' & 81' CB125S modded to a 'CB200S'
I love the small ones too !
Do your BEST...nobody can take that away from you.
