New chain & sprockets 750 K8
« on: March 02, 2015, 06:28:01 AM »
I want to change over to a 530 setup and keep the same speed to rpm that I have now with the stock 630 o-ring with 15t frt. and 41t rear sprocket. However I might want to drop the highway 65mph to 70mph rpm a little. I have read where others have done this. could someone be so kind to post where you got your sprockets along with the tooth count and how long your chain is I can order it a little longer and break it to fit. This is a 750 K8 all stock.
Thanks

There are gear calculators for that purpose, like this one:

Did this a year ago.  17/48 @110 links.  Cut off a few to fit to my liking.

15/41 = 2.73
17/48 = 2.82
