oil filter components
« on: February 17, 2015, 09:29:25 PM »
The oil filter on my '350F has a 1/2" spacer and spring. The Clymer doesn't show this spacer. What order do these go in?

This is where that (diagram above) came from. Look around here on our site for the Honda service manual it has some things the Clymers doesn't show.

Thanks,

Well based on where the holes were in the oil feed bolt I assumed that the spacer went next to the case, however I put the spring next and then the filter.   :-[
I guess I'll have to sacrifice a little oil and put it in right.

Clymers for the 350F blows!
There were more than a few things i found wrong.
Do as airborne suggested.  Download the original shop manual and use only that.

Its the purple one....3rd down  http://www.honda4fun.com/materiale-documentazione-tecnica/shop-manual

CMSNL.com is another good resource with parts fiche and diagrams.
