Nice job. You may want to consider sealing it with clear.

A lot of heat & chisel pounding but I finally got the lower part of the bottom bearing off the steering stem. Once I get the other part of the bottom bearing out of the frame, I'll be able to start getting new bearings in.

Got the lower bearing race out of the steering head & was able to get the top bearing race in. The lower race wouldn't go past a certain when I tried getting it in the a wood block & mallet. I tossed it in the freezer & will have to try the Hack a Week method of using some all-thread & washers to press it in.

Repainted the lower triple tree that attaches to the steering stem as well. Hopefully it's just a matter of getting it all pieced back together & I'll be set to ride.
