has anyone mentioned,

NO SIXTH GEAR!

and I could use more power too. Getting on the freeway around here in the morning is like coming on to the indy 500. You'd better be doing at least 80 or get the hell outta the way. So needless to say I often find myself at 90 or 100 just to stay away from some ah()le

I may have to break down and see M Reick, damn you sir, you're an evel temptress. I don't want to see any more photos of the engine. OK? ::) ;D ;D ;D

K8.  Takes too long warming up (5-10 minutes!) even though it runs well.  Brakes are only moderately good, and the front brake squeal can make me, well...squeal!

I've got an annoying left side backfire, but I've been too lazy to try and straighten it out.

For all that, I just love riding it!

You know, if I park my bike on the center stand she doesn't burn a drop of oil at start up.

Been that way for the last few months.

These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.

My carb overflow seems to work too well.  Also, I haven't been able to get a long lasting smooth idle.  Too fast, too slow, too fast, too slow.

It has to be the chain clatter at idle with the clutch out in netural.  To keep 4 carbs in sync hot and cold, just to make it sound like it is not going to chew your leg off is a pain.

If complained about my old 750, that would mark me as one ungrateful SOB.
Roger that!
Although I have wished on occasion for a shaft drive, the LACK of cost to rebuild one at 80,000 miles (that I passed long ago) was a real blessing. Not to mention: they eat about 6 HP off the top...
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.

The biggest problem with my K0 is that it is just so damn cool!

I get sick of people stopping me in the street asking me about it, telling me about the time they rode one "back in the day", sexy babes wanting to ride on the back, etc etc.

Hell, if this keeps up I might have to buy a K8 just so I don't have to talk to anybody, except maybe those kind souls who'll tell me to cheer up and don't feel bad that I'm riding the motorcyling equivalent of a sweaty fat chick.............  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Rear Tires by far... Speaking of is there any way to take off the rear wheel without removing the #1 pipe?

Edit: I'm an idiot, bike is 73 750k with stock pipes.

Every one I get is missing the left side cover!!! :P
Other than that, I have no complaints.

Yeah take the chain off....remove the adjuster stops.....loosen the axle bolt.....slide the whole tire rearward and off.

Well I guess I have wasted a few days in total of my life doing it the hard way. I guess I just assumed the slot for the axle was permanently enclosed  :-\
