Bought six motorcycles yesterday......Now what?
« on: January 30, 2015, 06:52:11 AM »
So as the title states, I bought 6 Honda CB's yesterday and was hoping some of you could help me brain storm some ideas as to where to go from here. Here is a list of the bikes

(1) 1970 Honda CB750 (Early build 9/69)

(2) 1974 Honda CB750

(3) 1976 Honda CB750

(4) 1973 Honda CB750 (No title)

(5) 1975 Honda CB750 (No title)

(6) 1976 Honda CB550 (No title)

Some of these bikes are not complete. I was thinking of combining the 1973 & 1974 CB750 to make a complete titled bike. Also, combining the 1975 and 1976 to make a complete titled bike.

Any ideas?

But pictures would be great.

I will check the VIN on the 9/69 bike today. I am pretty sure its not a sandcast. It was off a few numbers I believe.

Here is a picture to hold you all over until I get to the shop today to go over everything. I was too tired last night from the long haul to pick everything up.

What state are you in? Might not be too hard to title the ones without 'em. In Tennessee it's easy.

VA is pretty easy to get titles as well if you use the abandoned vehicle route.

There was a guy on here who had a K0 without a vin plate, just serial numbers and he was curious as to what month it may have been built in. Maybe he might see this.

Very interesting date/vin combo on your 9/69.      My 10/69 K0 has vin 1008xxx, close to sandcast

serial number 1012xxx would be 11-69 so that would make yours around 11-69 or 12-69 .

What do you mean? The frame tag states 9/69.

Sorry, I am clueless when it comes to CB750's. Always been a 550 guy.

So what exactly do I have here? Whats it worth?
