Good luck finding another bike to stand against that monumental effort! I don't care whether you're a hipster or a classic Scrooge, you've got to absolutely love that thing or you don't belong on a motorcycle....

Summary judgement anyone?

You know I'd love to nominate the other end of the spectrum, a super custom. Sandy Vs Phaedrus, but I'm not sure Ron will ever call his baby "complete"  :-\

There's only one way to find out.  I think Ron's Phaedrus is up for some friendly competition.  Consider this a second!
Edward: See if you can get him to accept.

Let's see if we can get some additional nominees.  Someone has to be close to project completion, right?

Shucks fella's. I call it done for this purpose. It's got 70 breakin miles on it, no leaks, doesn't smoke, street legal, and if I could, I'd ride it anywhere with confidence, so, I accept!

No false confidence here though, I've been nominated before and lost. The tide favors well done originals over customs. But I'm just having fun at this point. My vindication, or better, greatest pleasure, was winning VJMC #1st Place Custom at the national last year. Anything after that is gravy and tire kicking.

I'll dig up an array of pics and write a story. Going forward there will be more farkllng, but the theme is intact. With the help of a ghost rider, hope to get it to the drags, maybe carry Godzilla, dyno it, everything except ride it on an overnight. Some things will be left to the imagination.

Nope. Ineligible.  Nine Lives won BOTM last March 2014.  She had her time in the SOH4.net sun.  8)

I don't recall anything in the rules about "recently completed" as a requirement for BOTM?

No, the rules certainly don't but it's easier (at least for me) to find recently completed work than dredging project build threads completed months or years ago, right?  ;)  I was simply trying to encourage nominations.

Since you mentioned it, perhaps you can nominate something not so recently completed.
