I bought a new oil pressure wire for my sandcast restoration and it had a ring terminal instead of the old style spade terminal.  I tried to find a new wire with the old terminal but they are not to be found

I had to go to the Honda shop for something else and asked if they had the old terminals and they did!  They had six so for 25 cents each I bought them all.  I snipped off the ring and put on the spade.  It’s as close to correct as I need to be.

While I was there I got the Honda part number, 07692-0010700.  I needed a crimper so I Googled the part number and happened to find a Honda service bulletin for wire terminal supplies and repair procedures.  They have a crimper but way too expensive so I borrowed one from an electrician buddy.  Anyway, to make a short story long, this looks like an excellent resource for parts and instructions for repairing wiring harnesses.  Here is the link:

Thanks!
Downloaded the good information for future use.
Crimping is important to do properly when it must be air tight. Professional manufacturers cut samples of each batch, in the middle of the crimp, check with microscope to verify all strands are OK and no cavities with air. Photos for documentation of the batch.
