Cb750 doubt

Hi all, just joined SOHC. I own a 78' gl1000 and want to Add a cb750 to my garage and this is what I've found. What is it?

Yes, that is a cb750, although it has been cleverly disguised by a custom builder.  Seat/tail section is based off a later DOHC cb750/900, I don't recognize the fairing, I would guess it was made for a different bike and has been modified to fit.  The gas tank is either from another bike I don't recognize or has been modified as well.
If it works good, it looks good...

The front fork legs are '72 or earlier. I don't recognize the gas tank or rear-sets? The valve adjuster caps are '70s aftermarket pieces.

Welcome.....post up the VIN and we can tell you what it is.  Start cleaning!
