The oils in WD-40 soak into the plastic making it clearer. I assume Vasoline might do the same, but last longer

The old WD-40 worked really nice on exhaust burns on your arm. I used to work pit at an oil change place. Burn your arm on a car that was problably driven from California to Vegas non stop for thier oil change. I would spray on some WD-40 and the burn failed to blister and turned into a neat brown spot and flaked off within two days. Also did I mention no pain I do know the parts cleaner we used to use would do the same thing.

It's going to be called 'Nutters'.Man, we're off topic on this thread!
Quote from: Pinhead on October 12, 2006, 11:27:20 AMDrain your oil and refill with WD-40. Let it idle for about 15 minutes, and then go about your normal oil changing routine. It'll really pick up the sludge and clean your engine out. I've heard of a lot of peple using straight kerosene for the same effect...Does WD40 or kerosene adequately lubricate the internals during this process? What about the pockets of WD40 or kerosene (like under the cam lobes in the cylinder head) that would be left after draining....is the volume left in the motor insignificant compared to the volume of oil that it would be mixed with, or should the oil be changed after a short period of time to flush out those remaining vestiges?

I'd be more than a little reluctant. WD-40 has the consistancy of water and lube cability only slightly better. I'd be very concerned personally. Just my $0.02 worth though.
so, you say just tie myself on with this... and steer w/ this? ok. where's my goggles?
I thought that was Soilant Green?
