I took these fuzzy pics of the Mark McGrew bike at the Barber Museum.  Contact Mark at M3Racing.  The dampener and several of the clutch-perch and cable adjuster parts are 'borrowed' from the CL72 and early CL77 models.

Perhaps these pics help a bit, don't know where i've found them.
I'v got 2 CL72 steering dampers and you can open them up for restoration.
The Dick Mann type of racing bike didn't use these brackets, they were weld directly onto the lower triple tree and frame.

I quickly made a 3D part of it, figuring it should look quite similar and would have been a single stage press stamping part.
Just eyeballed the main dimensions from a few blurry pictures off course.

Edit1: The upper picture is from Yoep Kortekaas his bike, its a true CR750 kit bike with almost all of the original parts.
Edit2: The second picture is from Paul McGhie his bike, also a true CR750 kit bike with almost all of the original parts, redid my drawings to match a little better.

The last two CAD drawings was very good. The photo of the CL77 vs CR750 steering damper is from me...

If someone now have a good photo of the rear bracket it would be fine. The best photo I have is this.

@Jadahonda do you have the Original CR750 steering damper of did you take the pics? I would really like to redo/remake my CL77 steering damper outer shell to CR specs but lack the measurements.

I hope this helps, these are the best i could find but i dont know which are original tough.
The pics from the naked frame are from M3 racing (DSFC), i doubt this is the original bracket as this differs from the other pictures but cant tell for sure.
screenshot003 is from Yoep's bike

I bought that M3 chassis or at least one he built just like it.
It is the basis for one of the two CR's I am building.
The second one is based on frame #7 of only 7 CR Spondon frames that were built.

Right now, both bikes and related hardware are currently in a shipping container while we are changing the layout in the shop and parts room. I will get some pics up when their status changes back to "work in progress". No intention of road racing them as I am old and too brittle. Am more focused right now on a drag bike so I can go play with Billy and the boys.

Here is some detail on the CR750 steering damper. It is very much similar with the CL72 damper, but when the CL72 damper has a curved end, this is cylindrical. Also this is zink plated and the CL72 damper is nickled. It should be easy to grind the eye to be like the CR750. The other end seems to be a standard 8mm link.

Now we only need some good photo's of an original rear bracket...

Great pics,

Would you be so kind as to take a few more pics with the "eye" on the side (looking into the hole)?
Is it a cylindrical straight true hole or does it have a recess on one side? With the risk of over-asking what are the measurements for the eye (outside diameter, inside diameter and thickness)

Innside is just as the CL72. The only thing you need is to grind they curved outside flat. From the parts list, it use the same rubber inside as CL72.
