stiff intake boots
« on: February 07, 2015, 09:23:05 AM »
Curious as to if there is an effective way to refurbish these stiff intake boots and bring them back to life for a good seal at the head? Or just to buy a new set. Thanks in advance

I'd get a new set and not think about it for another 10 or 12 years. ;D

Another source is 4into1.com. Both genuine Honda and aftermarket.

MReick got me a new set 5 or more years ago and they still pulse like little hearts.

Well there is a way u can reuse them, I took a bottle torch, an warmed them up an then pushed them back on with carbs, an put new clamps on them an tightened them down while they where hot, they worked good for me, good luck to ya

That is because of all the love Mike puts into them.

Consensus would be why use old dodgy crap when you can have brand new so cheap.
