I'm in to help. We need to get an idea of the players and formulate a ride idea. Drum it up to bring the wannabes and the riders outta the wood work.

Japan is covered it looks like. Italian Tom in Japan can formulate the Rising Sun leg.

Yup.  PZ is resting in Santa Barbara on his way east in March. He is ready to ride--but I am still in the process of planning the route.  It keeps changing.  What is unchangeable is this> CA to Felicity, CA> Yuma, AZ>Tombstone, Az>Bisbee> Silver city NM>Truth or Consequences, NM>Sante Fe, NM.  Now deciding about Texas or Colorado then definitely back to AZ for a run to the Grand Canyon south entrance then back to Santa Barbara.
Let's get 2015 going.  We can have all three pass in one state  :)

Okay so that worked perfectly.  Here is what I wanted to post on the 2015 new topic thread (that is not cooperating).  If someone can move it to that thread that would be fantastic.

Pimpzilla is ready to leave CA---

Well in one month that is...Pimpzilla and I will be leaving Santa Barbara, CA on March 14th and taking a wide loop around AZ, NM, CO, and back to AZ and home in CA.  The plan is to be back by 3/24

Here is the tentative schedule:

3/14 Santa Barbara to Yuma AZ
3/15 Yuma>Gila Bend> Tombstone AZ
3/16 Tombstone > Gleeson>Douglas AZ
3/17 Douglas> Portal>Silver City, NM>Truth or Consequences NM
3/18 Truth or C > Albuquerque>Santa Fe>...
then I lose track of time but the rough idea is
Santa Fe NM> Trinidad CO> Cortez CO>Grand Canyon AZ>CA

If anyone wants to pick up/meet up with PZ and me I am ready to pass him off anytime after Tombstone (I promised PZ we would go there together). Perhaps another "region" wants to take him east or north?  I am fine taking him back with me to CA as we have bonded in the last few months.

Let me know thoughts!

Sounds like a great kick-off, might be hard to match!

The 2015 board is new, and I was not able to start a new thread either. I'll give it a day and then reach out to the powers that be if it's still no-worky. Been some wonkiness on the forum lately, must be ghosts in the machine!

Great to see 2015 kicking off! Am I still the only girl who has given GZ a ride? Ya'll know he needed to be cleaned up and needed a spa day :P

Nope.  I have PZ presently and he is ready to ride with me through the southwest on 3/13/15 to 3/24/15.  Unfortunately no one is offering to pick him up and carry him further east or north.  I also carried the original GZ (on the first relay for Central CA) and Leftie (on the 2nd one) when they traveled west.

PZ has arrived on the east coast of Canada! Welcome to the fog belt, PZ! I'll take him for a little tour soon, and I can do a hand-off as far south as Bangor, ME. I am picking up some parts in Calais in a few weeks (early June, likely) so if someone wants to do that direction that would be cool.

OR

If someone wants to take PZ further north/west (Quebec, Ontario, etc), I'd be happy to make a trip to northern New Brunswick.

I am so glad you got PZ.  I saw through tracking that he was in Canada but no one there to receive him (sorry he missed your deadline by one day).  He hates traveling by box!
Also, I forgot to send along the book that goes with PZ.  I will wait until he gets to the USA though to send it (I should have ridden him out to you in Canada it would have been cheaper  ::) )
Or I am coming through in September and can just bring you the book so keep a log for yourself so you can add it in there.
Tell your wife PZ will grow on her he is very lovable if not a tad fancy.

I'm game for a leg of the trip if it runs near the Philly, PA area.

Hey, Chewie! You or any of the other SOHC gang near Syracuse interested? I could make a run up  to visit my brother and meet up with you for the central NY area and pick up "His Lizardness".

So who wants to meet me in the Bangor ME area to continue PZs trip? As long as I have a 2 week notice, I can meet you on a Saturday.

Maybe once we know who will be meeting me, Mooshie can send the log book so I can sign it?

So who wants to meet me in the Bangor ME area to continue PZs trip? As long as I have a 2 week notice, I can meet you on a Saturday.

Maybe once we know who will be meeting me, Mooshie can send the log book so I can sign it?

UPDATE: So long as I have enough notice, I can make this trip any day of the week EXCEPT FRIDAYS. I'll just need to schedule the vacation time.

PZ will be my passenger/buddy on Saturday for the 2015 Ride for Dad. Photos to come!
