Sean.............do what works best for you..............Other than Sunday, I am flexible. We have events to go to next weekend..........1/2-mile flat-track racing at Elkhorn on Saturday...........the Slimey Crud Run on Sunday (about 3000 bikes showed at the last Run)............and the weather forecast says ALL CLEAR and temps in the 70s ;D ;D ;D

I will give Pimp-Zilla a chance to ride with Johny and others before he goes west.....................anybody want to meet my wife at the San Francisco airport?  She could transport PZ on October 5th when flying to California.

flat track racing?  slimey crud run? I have been wanting to do that for several years now!...these are both the weekend of oct. 3 and 4?  Godzilla just told me this is exactly the kind of stuff he likes to do!   ...EdwardMorris we could still get you and Godzilla together this weekend but I would have more time to get my trip to Wisconsin planned out better.

You got a 1/12 scale plastic model of the cb750 for PZ to ride while flying?

No model bikes in this garage.........only the real thing ;)..........but my wife could wear one of my SOHC/4 t-shirts to make P-Z comfortable.

Sean.........the 3rd & 4th...........its a plan 8) 8) 8)

The races start at NOON........combo of AMA modern and vintage classes............I have plans to ride with a friend or two..........would be shortest for you to ride up Hwy 12 from Chicago. If you have no other plans, your welcome to ride to my place for the night.............or I'll meet you near Milwaukee on Sunday AM.......breakfast.........?

The ride to the beginning of the Slimey Crud Run (Pine Bluff) can be mostly highway......or some leisurely back roads............but the roads west of Madison are very interesting...........lots of nice curves but not as tight as parts of the Kettle Moraine roads. You can enjoy the first stop on the Run for lunch and start back to Michigan, or ride to the end of the run (Leland) and start back by 2:PM

Totally up to you Sean, if you don't want to go to WI via Chicago, then we can definitely do the ride I planned this weekend. If it works better for you to stop here on your way to WI, then I can free up morning/afternoon of Oct 3 as well, just let me know what works best.

I haven't read through all the PZ tour rules, but will it be alright to invite a non SOHC rider to come along? PZ will ride one of the SOHC bikes of course...

Actually guys, this plan is all falling together perfectly...so my ferry across lake Michigan friend is gonna be in Memphis this weekend.  So are all my friends that I stay with in Milwaukee...too bad I am not headed for Memphis.

So this saturday (sept. 26) I will take Godzilla to visit with edwardmorris and his beautiful K2....yes non sohc riders are welcome to ride along, we just have to protect them from Godzilla...we can do roughly the same schedule...can sort it out though pm's etc.  Anybody wants to join in, please post up!...then Godzilla will go back to Michigan with me until the next weekend(unless somebody has a better idea)...

and I will take the ferry to Milwaukee friday oct.2, get to see my friends, and saturday meet Old Scrambler for super Godzillomoto Wisconsin Weekend!...really looking forward to this!  Godzilla stays with whoever in Wisconsin...

So, GZ is going to get to see some water and racing soon after meeting Ed.
Naturally, we need to see GZ meeting Ed and shots on your bike...
Plus the ferry its crossing and meeting with OldScrambler and going to the races and any trouble PZ might get into.  If fall is hitting there I imagine PZ might need some additional clothing....being a lizard,  giant or not, he is more susceptible to the elements. You don't wanna have him start breathing fire.

Jet airplanes are cool, but my offer to take it west on an actual SOHC4 is still on the table if someone wants to meet from the other direction.

I've seen enough of your mug to recognize it, Sean, without anyone identifying the participants in the pics. As long as there is an even uglier lizard included, I can stomach anything. ;D ;D

So! I was able to do my first ever PZ ride today, big thanks to Sean! Started out a bit rough as we were stopped for quite a while due to traffic being fully stopped to let the 100s of motorcyclists through. IINM, today was the Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride. PZ didn't look happy to be stuck in traffic, but cheered up as he got to point and laugh at a bazillion Harleys  :P :P :P :P

Once things cleared up, it was a pretty good ride all the way through. Stopped at Cedar Lake as planned and PZ did a photoshoot. Headed to Lowell after that for a quick bite, then rode with Sean on his return journey till we parted ways. Beautiful weather throughout, could not have asked for a better day for this. Thanks again to all involved, it was a lot of fun, and this is the longest I've been out on my K2.
