New bloke with rare CB500 K0
« on: February 02, 2015, 08:50:32 AM »
Hi to everyone from sunny U.K.
I am new to your forum and the proud owner of allegedly one of only three genuine U.K. CB500 K0 press release bikes.
I am in the last throws of restoration but need help.
I am looking for a seat hook, plastic under seat fuse holder and the gas tank trim.
if anyone has any of these parts I would be eternally grateful if you would sell them to me.

welcome Harley to the mad world of the SOHC. Go to the parts wanted section and put a call out with part numbers to make it easy for other members to know what you are requiring.

Welcome. How did you come across that bike ? It must have a very interesting back story.  Eric

Hi Ekpent thanks for the welcome.
I came across the bike purely by fluke.
A guy just asked if I wanted to buy it as he didn't have time to restore it.

Welcome.

You should pop in to www.sohc.co.uk and chat to the UK mob. We've had some discussion recently about how many K0s actually made it into the UK...

Hi Steve.
Thanks for the gen, I have registered with the U.K. site but Trigger advised to ask the U.S. guys as the K0's came here mostly.
Trigger told me there were 3 K0 models that came to the U.K. brown, gold and black.
Trigger has the gold one, he knows where the brown one is and I have the black.
