Dynoman Performance Issue??
« on: January 31, 2015, 10:17:42 PM »
I'm gearing up to fix the last oil leak I have on my '78 CB550, drop in a CB650 cam, upgraded valve springs and all new gaskets from the case up.

Ordered some parts from Dynoman Performance including their KPMI valve spring.  On the invoice it says "valve spring set" and on the bag of springs it says "valve spring set, 8 pairs inner/outer, and the website says valve spring set of 8 inner and outer.  I received my order and the plastic box of springs had been cut open with a box knife and the bag inside that had the springs had been cut open and there were only 4 springs in the bag.  Anyone ever encounter this?  I emailed them right away, hope to hear something back soon.

I bet someone returned it and they sent it back out. They should make good if it's missing something.

Does seem to be an error in supply.
I can't see Buzz shorting you half the set.

I hadn't thought about a return, that would make some sense...

Just an update, Debbie got back to me very quick and she knew exactly what had happened.  Someone ordered 1.5 boxes of the springs, somehow they missed the opened box and shipped it to me.  She was very nice about the situation and emailed me the remaining springs the same day!

Thanks again, Dynoman Performance.

Who would need a half box of springs?
