Willowbank Nostalgia Drags, 26 April 2015

Nostalgia Drags 26th April 2015
Willowbank Raceway
Come out and support this great event.

Entries close on the 17th April so if you have ever wanted to know what your 1984 and older motorcycle can do over the 1/4 mile, then this is the event to do it at. Entry is $110 includes 1 crew member, $20 for additional crew members.
$25 for spectators.

Guys you don't need a purpose built drag bike, your ratty daily rider is very welcome so is your fully restored show bike. You don't need to ring it's neck either.
We get atleast 3 qualifying runs then 3 races you don't get knocked out if you lose a race.

Atleast come out to watch me ride my red and white F1 monster. Raced it last weekend at the Roma Easter in the Country meet, I was having trouble launching it cleanly, finally put it together on the last pass to run a 6.895 @ 98.05MPH. Roma is an 1/8th mile track.

Thanks Peter. If your not fast you got to look good going slow  ;D

The bike is still bogging just after the launch so going to try a 52 tooth rear sprocket, running a 48 at the moment

Pretty sure the motor is an F model. He did have a SOHC in there. Don't know any history.
