Which Chain Guards will Fit?

GM, I would like to upgrade the chain guard to a CHROME version on my 1978 CB550. Which ones will fit (without modifications)?

If mods are needed, I see the 550F version attached near the rear sprocket cover...does it use the sprocket cover/plate bolts?

This is what I was able to discern from the greenspun archives.

Any of the K-series guards all the way through the model run should fit.  The F's are different - however, while they won't fit a K exactly, you can swap chain guards on any F with another F guard regardless of the year.
