Hey Guys,

I been on this site lots looking at everyone's projects and doing lots of reading. I just thought I would introduce myself and post a couple pics of my bike.

I never owned a motorcycle before, only motocross and trail bikes when I was younger. I was wanting a winter project and found a clean

76 CB 750K and picked it up. I think I got pretty lucky because I didn't know what I was looking for and ended up getting a great little bike with endless aftermarket and stock parts available. Sure made building it easier.

I went through the wiring but didn't do anything to the engine or carbs yet. The bike seems to run fine and only has 24,000 miles on it. I figure next winter I may pull the motor and rebuild it along with the carbs.

Bike is about 90% done. I am just waiting to take it over to the fab shop to install a new seat hoop, my rear fender and tail light. Other then that I just have some minor adjustments to the front or rear suspension so it sits a little more level. I may have to bring the front down a little more as the rear shocks are shorty shocks and wound up all the way.

Some nice components. I think you might have some clearance issues with the seat/tire.

I agree with Don. It looks like you'll be rubbing pretty quick on the back. Cool bike though!

I agree on the clearance. I wound up the rear shocks since the picture and it lifted the back up about an inch. Also, the seat has a lot of excess foam on the back, when I mount the hoop and fender I will push the rear seat up for extra clearance. If that doesn't work out I will have to take the seat back to the upholster and/or get longer shocks. :(

Are both front and rear wheels 18"? If so, there's part of the issue with your suspension. Those tire are very tall side walled too, crappy handling and clearance problems all in one.

Although popular for a certain look, those Firestone tires handle like dog poop. Be careful riding with those tires.

very nice looking bike! just not to fond of the short ending seat...
might be better with a decent end hoop :)

what colour are the tank and cover? Looking for a new color for my K2 and really love this, kinda orange right? (confused with the last picture :) )

Hey I really like your bike, I have a 1972 cb 500 four, I am wanting to make a bobber, if you don't mind, me asking, what size is your front tire? An is your front rim stock?

Hey Everyone, front tire is a 4.00 x 19" and rear is a 4.50 x 18" They are the stock wheels that came on the bike. I have read lots of negative comments on the internet about these tires lol. I am completely aware at how horrible they may ride. This bike was more of a fun project build for me and will likely see little use. A simple cruise around town bike.

I also agree about the seat. My first post says the bike is 90% done, the last 10% is the up swept seat hoop, rear tail light and rear fender (Which is my front fender cut down)

Once I fix lift up the rear a bit and finish up the back end it will really clean up the look from the back. I plan on mounting the tail light directly on the seat hoop above the fender. I bought this little light from DCC.

Also I have to install a small bushing to tighten up the rear signal lights mounted to my shocks.

Thanks for the Imformation  YYC-CB 750 I like your build, I'm sure if you wanted to use it for an everyday rider, it would give you great service, mine probably will not be rode but just a few times in the neighbor hood, I am building it just cause I love them
