CB500 model year
« on: February 14, 2015, 10:10:45 AM »
Hi, while looking to buy a CB500, I came across several CB500 k1 said to be from 1975. That doesn't match the production years in my model guide. If that was just one bike I would think ok, just a mistake but In've seen many of them. Does anyone have an explanation?
Thanks!

Possibly UK models. We didn't get the others.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Ok, thanks. For info I live in Belgium and the bikes I've seen were on websites in Holland.
Would that make sense if these bikes are US imports?

More likely euro models.

In Europe a 1975 500 will be a K1. CB500K2s were sold in 1976-77. Check this site to identify your model http://www.honda4fun.com/materiale-documentazione-tecnica/parts-list/parts-list-cb500.
And here you'll find the differences between the 500(K0), 500K1 and 500K2 [ED,F,G]. http://www.honda4fun.com/home/faq/generali/111-cb500-differenze-k0-k1-k2
