Looks good, Nils, thanks for posting.  You have your hands full with that one.

Ya, it's tired, was "put away wet", but I'm trying to not get carried away, just for once. What I REALLY want to do is restore this Z1. And get carried away :-)

That looks to be in fairly good cond, much better than the H2.  You plan to go back to stock?

It is much better, starts, stops, turns, little stuff that the H2 does not do :-).

I'm going to fully restore it, upgrade it in a few spots, but subtly, like ignition, suspension, bearings, etc. Repro bodywork and exhaust, seat. Make it very very good cosmetically, and a bit better mechanically. Then I'm going to send it to Switzerland and my pal Pius, for what it cost me, because he's my pal.

So I am very much on the prowl for another, for me :-).

GUTS,
You have a sweet collection of bikes Sir  ;)
When I read your restoration thread on the B8 I realize why they call it 'Kawasaki Heavy Industries'  8) Man ! that thing was built like they wanted it to last forever
Nice solid machine.
