A local motorcycle dealer bought a Delorean and had it painted red, it looked a hundred times better.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

I think some US outfit bought out all of Deloreans inventory so much so that they can build one from scratch with all the NOS they have or restore the one you may already own. Well anyhow last summer our youngest son treated my wife and I to what's called an "Extreme Experience" fantasy test drive at a road course about 2 hrs from here, depending on how much $ you wanted to spend you had a choice of a Ferrari, Mc Laren, a couple of different Lambos, an Audi R8 and a Vette Stingray and how many laps again depended on how much you wanted to spend. My kid drove a Mc Laren, I drove the Stingray and my wife chose to ride in a car driven by a pro driver. All of us who were driving had a driving instructor riding with us and I must say I learned a lot in that short time ........ but I've gotta say that Stingray I had was lame considering how much they cost, I mean it pulled reasonably strong but nothing like I was expecting, my kid driving the Mc Laren wasn't all that impressed with his either. We could only assume that all the cars there were had their engine management electronics set up in granny mode or something, my Stingray had an auto trans and all the other exotic cars with paddle shift trans were set up in automatic mode but it still was a great experience.

There was one fellow there that simply couldn't get enough of it, while we were signing up this guy literally comes running in with a wild eyed look of excitement on his face as if he were a teen having sex for the first time. He whipped out his credit card asking to drive another car and literally ran out the door to get back in line, as he left the girls behind the counter were saying that was the guys 5th time in there that day. I have no doubts that guy put well over $1,000 on his credit card that day.

Watching last week's Top Gear about the Laferrari made me a little jumpy. Like... "go rob a bank so I can have one" jumpy.

Yeah, a 800 hp hybrid would show you care about the environment.  Problem is it would show you had just robbed a bank, too.

Nah I don't think hybrids are going to save the planet. Just the MORE POWER in this case!

What I found amusing about that episode of Top Gear was how both Ferrari and Mc Laren balked at allowing the Stig to take their cars out for a lap time. Ferrari supposedly had guards around their car to make sure the Top Gear boys didn't sneak the car out and do it anyhow.

When they have that much "brand power" to protect, I don't blame them... especially when it was a customer's car. The list of qualifications for owning a LaFerrari was amazing though...

I remember on an episode some years back where Ferrari wouldn't loan them an Enzo for a track time so Top Gear simply bypassed Ferrari and asked Enzo owners themselves if they could take their car out. In that case it was the drummer for Pink Floyd, Nick Mason who let them play with his Enzo and I guess Ferrari wasn't happy with that so with that in mind I guess Ferrari has already forewarned current Laferrari owners that if they loan top Gear their car for a lap time without Ferrari's blessing then they wont be eligible to purchase a new special edition Ferrari ever again.

I remember seeing a '60's Ferrari around Seattle twenty years ago. It was plain jane sedan looking thing, but stylish  just unique enough that I had to see what it was. Somebody's daily driver.

What freaks they have become.
