He stayed on it!
« on: February 16, 2015, 08:50:39 AM »
This was from the VRRA facebook page this morning. Apparently the rider kept it pinned and stayed on the thing, kudos to him. He's painting quite a black stripe there.

But just to show how much flex there can be. Granted four bolt fork caps are good and a leg brace would have helped, but flimsy is flimsy.  ;D

Great technique, wrong surface! Usually attempted in dirt tracks with a leg down. What's he thinking???  :D

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. I was looking for one like that from Arron Slight, probably twice as fast as Mamola's get off/on, almost identical though. It may have been in the Aussie superbike series...?  Mamola was one of my early favorite riders, I still have a Mamola Arai helmet... 8) ;)

You know Simon you're probably right. There are two other photos leading up to this cross-up and this didn't happen all at once. usually it should have ended sooner in a HS but apparently he kept it pinned, crazy bastard!
