Well, this sucks. Future e-mails are on hold indefinetly. I seem to have just experienced a hardware failure and lost about a Gig or so worth of stuff. Everything in my "Motorcycle" folder just went 'poof'. Everything. I am not a happy camper right now.

To all those people who cannot print the carb file because it's locked.
There is a small program called PDF Password remover which will unlock the file and let you print it.
Not certain about the legality but I'm sure nobody in this group would do anything illegal.

I'm back; hardware issue resolved. I just sent it out to everyone up to & including the blantonator.

Ok, maybe my hardware issue is not resolved; I just got another odd nasty-gram from Windows. Hmmmm, well it seems to be sending...let me know if y'all get it.

very impressive load of info.
should make the yearly carb teardown a more meaningful one.

good luck with the windows issues- i hear they can be a bear- wish i could help but i was a convert to mac for work reasons after windows 98 and fear my knowledge would be outdated or mac specific. if you have recovered your files though you should be able to move them to more solid ground and reformat or replace the problem drive- but you have probably done all that already. so yeah as i said, good luck

I've tried twice and it bounced twice. It's a 6 meg file and the bounce-nastygram said something about exceeding the size capacity. Have another address that can take some capacity?
