Can someone recommend an Ultrasonic Cleaner to buy?
« on: February 13, 2015, 06:39:31 AM »
I figured I may as well just buy one of these things if the price isn't too extreme. What is everyone else using? I would like something that the whole rack can fit in so i don't have to break them down.

I heard of a few people using the Harbor Freight one with good results.  Not sure how big it is, but it's about $80.00 or so.

I use the HF one pretty regularly, does two bodies at a time or a whole carb at a time. Works really well with 50-50 Simple Green HD Pro and water

I bought the HF one too and it works great....I use a 50/50 mix of hat water and Simply Green....just don't let the aluminum parts sit too long......
I am looking for a larger one now so I can fit the entire 4-bank of carbs into it....

I have a bad boy 7 gallon and it kicks butt!  I can put an entire cb750 head or cylinders in there if I feel like it.  Not sure I would go that route again.  Maybe 1/2 that size.  I like mine but it really need an filter and pump to clean up the solution.

I think it ran me around $700 or so on Ebay.

I have the 2.5L Harbor Freight one. it will easily hold a SOHC4 carb body.
