I contacted cycleX - and they are willing to sell the downpipes separate from the mufflers.

They promised me a price - but haven't received that info yet.

The cyclex website now shows the price of just the pipes.

$249 - in either black or chrome.

Good to know , good price . They look like Mac's . I have my old set of Mac head pipes out for ceramic coating . The new pipes may be a better , cheaper option .

saavejo ; Not to sound to simplistic but try Google. I just did a search for the Honda Pt# 18300-393-000 and got a lot of hits. Granted many said dis-continued but it seemed like a few of them may actually have the part. At least the ones that seem to have it could be called (probably Toll Free). Again just a simple-minded way of thinking, LOL !   ...cougar...

Thanks for all the good suggestions and info!  I found a set of used original down pies on eBay and mated them to 2 new emgo mufflers and it looks and sounds great! Thanks ;)

EMGO MUFFLERS THAT WORK, and are tunable = #80-84030 on e-bay =cheap and very close to SUPERTRAPPs brand but way cheaper. Run them on my 1978 750A drag bike..... tune the muffler quicker then changing a main jet !
