shocks adapter?
« on: February 17, 2015, 04:37:33 PM »

I  would like to install shocks that have eyes on both end but my problem is that my swingarm is made to accept shocks with clevis...so my question,is there any adapter that i could buy somewhere? or,if its possible, to see pics if you have made something to fix this problem.

Seems simple enough. Two pieces of flat bar on either side and then two shouldered bolts?

somebody was selling some slick machined adapters here a while back...I went and looked and it seems the post is gone.  Kinda seems like a bad idea for safety/handling reasons anyway.  I have thought about welding/modifying the swing arm before, but it does not seem worth it unless you have some super duper shocks that you know you want to keep for a long time...unlikely, when so much is available that bolts on.
If it works good, it looks good...
