Noob question: Minimum Amps required from battery?

I'm mapping the simple wiring system that you can find everywhere on this site and beyond.  Starter is gone and all that I intend to run is Headlight, Tail Light and obviously the necessity of amps going to alternator.

I don't know much (if anything) about electronics so I was hoping someone might help by suggesting a minimum Amperage on a 12v battery that I would need.  And maybe offer pros and cons on battery selection.

Currently I'm looking at the Anti Gravity batteries and the Bikemaster TruGels.  Opinions, suggestions, advice?

Thanks.

If you aren't using an electric starter, the battery can be much smaller, as the starter draws the most current. I've used a 3 Ahr lead acid, and a 2.3Ahr LiFe on my 750 for years, and never found myself "dead on the roadside". Granted, the 750 has a slightly more robust charging system than a 550, but as long as the motor is turning fast enough to overcome the drain of the ignition and lights, the size of the battery doesn't mater.
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!
