carb question

so I've been looking on line and saw a few people comment on it and i believe that when i pulled the carbs off months ago i didn't think the two lines coming off 2-3 carb goes anywhere is that correct or am i remembering it wrong? not my carbs ps

They usually have a short black hose attached that just vents to above the airbox.

Hondaman's book suggests routing them into the bottom of the airbox through two small holes. I did that. We'll see how it turns out.

thanks! i love Hondamans book but damn its hard to find what i'm looking for in it sometimes.

That is in the tuning section, I think, where he also talks about adding holes to the intake areas of the airbox.
