Morning CB lovers,
I am half way in building my first cafe bike. I have a few questions about parts that I need to order.
1- I want to run Rear Sets
What kind can I use? I heard rizorro or pretty much OEM cbr600 would work. but how do I connect the shifter linkage? here is a few that I found. can anyone provide pictures of write up how to make rear sets work I already have the mounting brackets, same for rear brake how to connect it. I will be using stock drum setup of a 750 wheel hub assembly

The problem is all of those are made for bikes with a rear disc and thus the brake pedal can be easily linked to a master cylinder, but to actuate a drum you are gonna have to get very clever or cut and weld.  Here is the brake side on my cb750...

I think bolt on rearsets for the cb650 are available from Raask...

yes, Raask is a company.  I just tried to find them for sale somewhere, and it seems they have disappeared off the face of the earth.  Mikes XS used to be the main dealer in the U.S., but I could not find them there.
     Since you already have brackets, I would suggest getting the Universal Tarrozi rearsets.  Fast from the Past sells a wide variety of linkage rods and parts to fit them to many bikes.

Wow ill buy the OZ left one if i can find a matching right, also item is from a hawk 650 maybe. I could search for those on ebay

The difference is Tarrozi actually has the parts so that you can actually connect the levers to your bike...that is what you were asking about isn't it?

You have to look through all the pages in that second link...there are lots of replacement parts for the bolt on stuff, but by about page 7 there are brake arms, shifter arms, linkage rods, heim joints etc.  I would even call Fast from the Past as they might be able to set you right up with everything you need.

Thank u, i just looked at cognimoto terozzi ones they make for 750 which is what i need. My bike is a 650 but frame is identical to 750, and im using a 18'DID A750 drum rear wheel

Ive been told frame in 78,79 650-750 identical only difference is the swing arm because the 750 a uses disc brakes

I think you'll find the 750 frame nothing like the 650....  650 frames are closer to 500/550

You're never gonna find direct bolt on CB650 rear sets. There are several ways to address the issue and each will have compromises.
You can certainly adapt modern rearsets by way of braze on mounts on the frame and adapted linkages or you can fabricate universal adapters like these that pick up engine and swingarm pivots.
