What is this for?
« on: February 28, 2015, 04:30:04 AM »
My 78 CB750 K8 came with wrong rear mudguard/fender as too short for side bolts to fit.

I think it may be off a 650?

It was a US bike and wondered what the bracket is for?

I have a K8 and spare fender no bracket like that on mine. Not here either.

Could it be from a 750P (police bike)? Single seat and goodies attached to the rear fender.

Those rivets look kinda suspicious.  I don't think I have seen Honda use anything like that.

Not 650, as far as I know, no 650's had a light mounted on the rear guard like that, they were all in the tail piece behind the seat. ;D

Those are definitely pop rivets.  Someone's home brew battery tray solution, looks like.
