Does anyone have pictures of their gauges with LED BA9S bulb upgrade and are you happy with it?  Pros and cons to using LED bulbs....

no pics but I did it years ago. glad I did.
I used red/orange lights for better night vision - white LEDs can be pretty damn bright.

Also did the idiot lights. One thing: go with corresponding colors for the bulbs E.G. red LED for oil, green LED for neutral, etc. There's something about the light frequency of white LEDs (mine, anyway) that washes out the lens color.

these from superbrightled's are a direct fit
I used blue in my gauges under white gauge faces, and the matching color for all my tree lights. (green under neutral, red under oil, yellow under turn signals)
I chose the 120deg pattern for the gauges, and the 90deg for the tree lights.

pros: cheap, bright, low current draw.
cons: I dont have to tinker with them for years  :P

this picture is at dusk.  tree lights are definitely bright enough to see during the day.

Hey flybox1: that a small digital volt meter at the bottom of you tach? Sorry to hijack thread but do you have a link to where you bought it from? That would be great thanks.
