« on: March 13, 2015, 01:34:37 PM »
PO put this on my '77 CB550K and I need to rebuild the MC but have no idea what kit to buy. Any ideas? I'm thinking it could be Kawasaki maybe?

And here's the piston for reference

It looks like the Nissin master cylinder I have on my CB550. Mine also says 1/2 on it, but mine has a mirror mount on it. It came from a 2009 Kawasaki KLR 650. Lots of bikes used this master cylinder. If you search Ebay you can probably find a very clean used master for cheaper than you can buy a rebuild kit. My master was from a very low mileage bike and was in perfect condition and very clean for about 25 dollars shipped.

You can buy a new repro MC from Silvers for less than a rebuild kit. Almost. :D

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.
