Handle Bars CB350F Handle Bars
« on: March 24, 2015, 06:27:41 PM »
Hello everybody. I was wondering where I could find a nice pair of cafe handlebars for the cb350f. I like the clubman style handlebars but I feel I will be in an uncomfortable position or have to adjust my pegs.

Also, With the original handlebars they had holes so you could weave the wires through. Do the new handle bars still have these? Even the cafe/clubman styled bars?

Most aftermarket bars do not come with holes.
I changed out my OEM 350f 8"rise bars out for Euro bars.   Sportier look, and better leverage.  They did not come with holes for wires, but in an hour, and with a punch, a stepped drill bit, and a dremel, I was running wires.

So there are really no aftermarket handlebars with the holes? They make the bike look so much better IMO. Plus my wires are from 1973 and need protection haha

Any of the bars with 90deg bends in them are tricky to run.  Care has to be taken to not scuff or break a wire causing a short inside the bars.  I went with the euro bars specifically for this reason.  Wire s were easy to fish through.

You can get original or repro 400f bars which are 1.5" rise I think. They are not clubmans, but lower than most euro bar styles and predrilled for wiring, etc.

Nice so those from dime city are like the original ones for the 350f just a little lower?

Would anyone also know the specs for the rear suspension on the cb350f? I have to replace the ones from 1973 lol.

Also on my cb350f tank one of the white pin stripes pealed off a little bit, is there anyway to still get those decals? i looked up some online and they were for 120 which is ridiculous. Should I just use white tape?

Hagon and Progressive both have shocks that will fit the bike.
Best to buy spring rate based on your weight and riding style.

I just sold some of those to another memebr here. They were drilled for Honda wiring. They were too short for a 550 but they were meant for the 400F or 350F.

Anyone know about those pinstripes though?

+1 On the CB Decals from AFE Graphics, as I bought a set for my CB 350F resto and excellent quality for the complete kit. Also regarding your handlebar question, I believe 4 into 1 has a number of sets of bars that have predrilled holes for the wires. He sells quite a selection of bars and some have the holes and some no holes.

Common sense.....isn't so common!
