I like the plans for the exhaust, new muffler & collector should look good. Those Dan Moto's look pretty neat.

oh, didn't know there were regulations for the length of a mud guard :)

to bad!

These are the regulations we have to abide by. Some people don't and they run either no guards or small ones. Its not worth the hassle of having to pay a fine and get the bike changed back for an inspection. For me anyway.

lookin good!
I'd shorten the rear fender if I were you and ditch those engine bars ;)

Engine bars for sure are coming off. They will be replaced with some crash knobs made from skate board wheels.

Installing frame sliders is not a bad idea.  However, I don't think that skateboard wheels have the same abrasion resistance of Delrin or sliders with more robust material.  Remember that you want something that can support the force of a 220 kg (485 lb) motorcycle plus its inertia.  I don't think a skateboard will hold up to that abuse.  It will likely tear apart and defeat the purpose.

Noted about the skate board wheels. I have ordered a set of universal frame sliders.

One side cover is done. Maybe to be re-made.
Perforated aluminum sheet. Black plastic backing. Cable ties to hold it on.

Crash bars are gone. Crash knobs will be added soon.
Different mirrors fitted. Recycled the Arlen Ness ones. They had been on my Speedmaster at one stage.

I like the bike without the crash bars (and with frame sliders to be installed).  I am not so sure about the AN mirrors.  For me, they say "chopper" which isn't in synch with the remainder of the bike.  Just my $0.02.  If you like them, that's the only one who matters.

I am undecided on the mirrors. I do have some oval ones.

Wrapped the exhaust connector pipe with header wrap. This is to hide the chrome that is coming away from the ugly weld.

Fitted a set of Drag bars. Lower is better.

Converted/mashed/cut up some CBR600 crash knobs in place of those horrid crash bars.

They are bolted straight through the lower of the two front engine mounts.

Sidecovers done.
Right side has brass mesh in behind it. Airbox in-take is on that side. Its not supposed be an E. It was supposed to be a scallop. The perforations would not allow me to get the points of the scallop. Oh well.
WnRn Logos attached.
Now to clean salt that is attacking the engine. I live not far from the coast line. They storms we have had have brought sea salt inland.

I am calling this done.

What did I do to the Brat - CeeBee-6-Fiddy.

Brat style seat made by Butlers Customs and Caferacers from Newcastle.
Drag Bars.
Biltwell Kungfu Grips.
Junked the massive tail light. Fitted a Lucas replica.
CB450 cut down rear guard.
Wrapped the mid pipe of the Marshall Deep Tone 4into1 connector pipe.
Mirrors made from 2 different sets of crusier style ones.
Smaller indicators.
Removed the tacho.
Made sidecovers from perforated sheet. Airbox side has brass mesh.
Made sidecover badges.
Removed crash bars that came with te bike. Replaced with CBR650 Crash Knobs.
Lowered headlight with different mounts.
Centred the speedo.
Move idiot light console. Fitted new lights.

A big thanks to Liam Butler for helping me make my vision come true for this bike.
To all on Sydney Cafe Racer FaceBook group and Central Coast Cafe Racers Group. You guys and girls have inspired me so much. Thanks you so much for your suggestions with this build.
My wonderful wife who has given me ideas for this build.
Greg Beckett for swapping this bike for my Speedmaster.

I am hooked on Honda SOHC. If only I could afford a 70s CB750.

Cheers mate glad you like what I have done.

The logo is my "brand" Wrench'n Ride'N. Relates to my blog http://rossmz.blogspot.com.au/ and Red Bubble store.

That lasted a week. I should never say done.

Mini speedo fitted.
I hate wiring. Being colour blind does not help me.
I have no oil light. I have tested different lights and either LED or normal bulb it wont light up.
I know there is oil in the engine.
Original bars back on. The drag bars look great but after the long ride yesterday and the lane filtering my wrists have said no more with those bars.

Skateboard wheels are polyurethane and can be had in up to like...shore a 101 hardness...  plenty hard enough for a layover. My guess is that it would abrade like sandpaper more than "tear apart"

Glad you like the drawing my wife did.

More fiddling on the CeeBee-6-Fiddy.
That huge fuse box on top of the handle clamps. Is gone.
Fuses are now under the seat.
Lowered the ignition.
Lowered the headlamp even further.
Cleans up the lines of the bike nicely.
I like the stance it now has.
Fitted some Renthal Ultra-Lows and bar end mirrors.
Did an oil change.
