trying to buy a k4 , its a non runner but its got lester mags in real good shape. any idea what these would be worth? engine is locked , has title good chromed engine side covers rocker boxs caliper, tank is probably toast , offer this cat 60 bucks hes wantin 200.

I would jump on that in a heartbeat. I'm lookin for a project anyway but I would say the wheels alone are worth the 2 bills.Good luck man.....hope you score!!!!!

Ill wait a few days n see, I run classified's from time to time and this is the only worth while call in two weeks. last year I scored a k3 for 35.00. the K4 has had the engine covers chromes and its flawless a good polishing and theyll look new. theres no speedo so unknown miles and dont know if engines lock from sitting or bad bad things inside.

No sweat about the lock-up.For $200,I figure its a good deal for the wheels alone plus a titled parts bike for free.Hell....how could you lose???

well that would bring another issue into play, the wife, I picked up and old xs 1100 couple weeks ago for 250. im waiting or her to forget that one.

yup will do, but bear in mind it takes this ol boy about an hour to say YUP or NOPE so bring plenty of food and drink.

well finally landed it talk about period custom! twisted kickstand , chromed lower legs, but the mags are killer.

gezz didnt check wheel size, and your right on the mini apes , had a hell of a time gettin it throught the door, it looks about as stupid as I did 30 yrs ago!

yup sure is finished it last year spent all summer tweekin the carbs went with roundslides that has a really bad supposed prejet.

yupper seat height is like 96" dang high, but the mini ape's just kinda make it um worse!! even got those foam padded grips. told my son in its day the bike was state of the art custom, he's still laughin.

um no and yes, the deal fell through on the old xs 1100 cat backed out , but she doesnt know that yet, and I took her out to dinner tonite. tomorrow ill medicate her and hope for the best.
