if you dont plan to download the torrent of the race, catch it while you can before dorna takes it off....
BTW, main histeric commenter is Guido Meda, a known rossi fan, but shorter comments are by Loris Capirossi.

I didn't realize that was Capirossi.  Meda is featured on FASTEST when they are dissecting the 2009 GP in Barcelona (battle between Lorenzo and Rossi).  I think Meda says, "Mama Mia!" there, too.

I'll be at the Austin Moto GP in two weeks, it is an awesome track.

I had to watch the Malaysian F1 first as well. So happy to see my team (Ferrari) return to form, even if it is just one race. Great drive by the "Iceman" to finish just off the podium after his qualifying and tire issues.

Got Qatar MotoGP on the DVR... can't wait. However, I accidentally saw the winner on the internet today. Crap.

When Lorenzo first joined Yamaha as a factory rider he crashed quite often, broke stuff. Quickly he got very fast and stopped crashing, he was a contender. In an interview around that time he said the difference between himself and Rossi was slight, he was pretty much just as fast but Rossi had one attribute that he hadn't attained yet and that was absolute focus and concentration, that was the biggie. Rossi is 36 now, an impossible age to be competitive in Moto GP,  and that "focus" is still the biggie

Don't mean to hijack but what's up with the Ducati's? I was stunned at how well they ran at the season opener so I looked it up and it turns out Rossi was complaining after the first race that Ducati has been given too much of a break with having 24 liters of fuel for the first race while all the other factory boys are limited to 20 and I guess at COTA the Ducs were allowed 22 and again everyone else 20. What's the advantage of the extra fuel? Does it allow Duc to put a more aggressive tune on their engines thus needing more fuel?

Anyhow I was at my kids place yesterday to watch COTA and as boring as it is to see Marquez win I have to admit watching him ride is awesome. Just watching how close to the ragged edge he can push his bike and still remain in control just blows me away.

What difference does extra fuel make? The ECU on these bikes take into account fuel consumption and adjust to allow the bike to make race distance. How do YOU squeeze more mileage out of fuel? Think about it. Less power is made available to conserve fuel.

Rossi didn't complain. Thems the freakin' Dorna rules. FYI - both factory Ducati bikes ran out of fuel during the cool down lap.

So the extra fuel allows the ecu to tune the engine more aggressively and still make it to the finish line, that pretty much answers my question. And FYI I wasn't complaining either, I was just stunned that for the past years they've been struggling yet are so much more competitive this year so far and and was just curious to know what changes or improvements were made and yes those last 4 laps at Qatar were fantastic. I just wish Suzuki and Aprilia could step up their game and make things even more interesting.

Ducati had the horsepower to beat Honda and Yamaha on the straights at COTA despite the lower fuel limit. Perhaps I didn't notice their acceleration last year when they were held back by handling issues, but they are finally heading in the right direction. I'm happy for them (and Moto GP) even though I'm a Honda fan! I wonder how Crutchlow feels about his move to Honda this season?

No worries.  I was just being sarcastic.  Suzuki did damn well for a new bike.  Aprilia, however, is not getting off in the right direction.  I hope their MotoGP effort doesn't end up like the CUBE.
