CB350 engine in a CB360...
« on: October 12, 2006, 11:36:23 AM »
Is it possible?  Say you have a 360 and the engine craps out, with 350 engines being MUCH more common, would it be feasible to drop a 350 engine in the 360 frame?

Also, another thread on here mentions the incompatibility of the CL 350 exhaust on the CL360 engine.  Assuming you could get the 350 exhaust with the engine, would the exhaust mount to the frame in a similar way, or is it TOTALLY incompatible with everything that is 360?

You could probably fit a 350 into a 360 , will need some modification to lower frame rails and new taller head steady.
It isnt possible to fit a 360 into a 350 though without major surgery as the 360 is a taller motor (I tried ;D)

The exhaust incompatibility is in the angle of the ports on the engine. The mounting points on the frame is not much of an issue.
