Topic: high speed rated ribbed front tire?

I know the Avon Speedmaster comes on a non DOT approved race front in 2.50 or  2.75/3.00H-19 TT that has a 130mph speed rating, an improvement over the standard Speedmaster at 112mph. 

I am looking for a speed rating up to 150mph in a RIBBED front tire.  I know the BT45s and Avon Roadriders among others are 150mph rated and excellent tires.  In my case I am looking for an authentic looking ribbed front tire for a vintage cb750 based dragster.  DOT approval would be a bonus. 

What's going on the Sorcerer and the Triple front wheels?

Hi . I've fitted a Hidenau 90/90/18 front to my repro vintage drag bike . It's a replica of an early sohc Honda Pro Stock bike , so won't be getting anywhere near 150 mph in the quarter  .
The tread pattern is near enough for me .
May be worth looking into .

Thanks, all those tires are H rated, good for 130mph.  I need a V rated tire to be safe (150mph)    Still looking...

Thanks, that is what I was afraid of.      A BT45 front will work, but I was hoping for a ribbed front tire as I'm holding on to a nostalgic look as much as I can.  Hell the Sorcerer ran 199mph on a ribbed front tire, I just want 150mph capability

Hi guys, so just clarifying the speed rating of the Avon Speedmaster AM6 MK11 DOT approved is 112MPH. Correct??
also we run a 16inch rear on one of our bikes and use second hand Harley tires, we have a couple of harley fronts in the rack would they be ok to run on the rear?
