How long & what temp do you use to oven-bake enamel ?
« on: April 10, 2015, 09:18:12 PM »
I just wondered when any of you use standard enamel spray paint rattle cans and spray miscl. small parts on your bike projects, what temps. do you set your oven and how long do you leave them in to heat-cure them ? I'm considering letting them 'out-gas' for a couple days first before oven-curing them...
I know they don't really use much hardener in spray cans so the reason I like to oven-cure the parts is to keep'em from scratching too much.
thoughts?

I read a bit of the thread info Edward.
Did you use the Rustoleum rattle can more than the Duplicolor? I didn't see how long you left the non-heat paint parts in the oven & what temp ?
