I have an original seat that has two issues. Overall its in nice looking shape but the seat cover has become brittle/stiff from age. Has anyone had any luck conditioning the vinyl material to restore its pliability? I read an old post about using Avon skin so-soft. Anyone had any success/recommendations? Also one small strip along welting has lost the top black vinyl coating, but underlying white backing material is still intact. Years ago I remember seeing a vinyl repair kit [ a glue like material that could be applied] I thought of using an black RTV to hide blemish but thought it would be too shinny to match well. Ideas?
