Bubba
Down South, Bubba called his attorney and asked, "Is it true they're
suin' the cigarette companies for causing people to get cancer?
"Yes, Bubba, sure is true,” responded the lawyer.
"And now someone's suin' them fast food restaurants for making 'em
fat and cloggin' their hearts with all them burgers and fries, is that true mister lawyer?"
"Sure is Bubba. But why you asking?"
"Cause what I want to know is, I was thinkin' can I sue Budweiser
for all them ugly women I've slept with?"

Met up with a mate of mine a few months back, just home from his honeymoon. Married himself a beautiful, pleasant, smart young wife. She and her family are from W. VA. Anyway, we are sitting there splashing some suds, and he lets out a low, slow, painful sigh. I ask, "Dude, what's the matter? Sorry you're honeymoon is over?"

He replies, "No, I think marrying Bess was a mistake. And now I don't know how to unravel from it." Mistake I ask? He confirms it. So I remind him what a catch she is, especially given he's no Brad Pitt. "What on earth are you talking about? Mistake? She's a catch way over your head!"

He says, "Yeah, I thought so too until our first night consummation. Turns out, she's a virgin. Can you believe it, a virgin!" So, I say, "Okay, that's pretty sweet really, a bit rare these days, but what is the issue?"

He says, "Well, you know one thing we had in common is that both our families are form WVA, right? So, if she's from WVA and she's a virgin, then there's a problem somewhere, and I don't want to wait to find out what it is."

So I'm confused as a sprayed roach as you might guess. I say, "Okay Dude, explain it to me because I ain't following your logic."

His reply, "If she ain't good enough for family, then she's not goodenough for me!"

PS - For any out of country blokes who read it, WVA has a cultural reputation for redneck, hillbilly, incestuous conduct. Not true of course, but they are the whipping post of many social jokes in the U.S.

@Cal: Speaking from a position of authority, I can state that WV jokes are not necessarily too far off. My ex-wife was from WV !  :-[ ;)
