use a hair dryer or heat gun to soften the sticker glue and it will come off with an old credit card or similar.

After lifting the bike the caliper is retracting more, but no enough to spin free...better take that piston off?

Ya that's important. I hate pumping that brake to bleed it. I took of the back and pad to reveal piston and now i have no brake pressure at all. Guessing air

This helped alot:

Cleaned the hell out of the inside, light sanded sprayed and blew out with air and reassembled. Worked beautifully. Spins almost totally free with just a light scrap, retracts and stops quick. Check it off the list! Gonna try for a title wednesday

The easiest way to do this is to have a small brake hone, a new caliper seal, fresh brake fluid and dish gloves.

Pump out the old piston, or do it with a grease gun.
Remove old seal.
Hone the caliper, wipe, install new seal.

Put on dish gloves.
Disconnect brake line from the master cylinder.
Fill caliper 1/2 to 3/4 full of brake fluid.
Install good piston.

Pushing in the piston will force the air out the the lines.
Reconnect the master cylinder.

You have very little bleeding and mess.

Hopefully you removed the groove seal and cleaned all the white crud from the groove well before you put it back together.
WD40 can be used to remove that sticker mess sometimes if your patient and its easy on the paint. peel as much as you can and like mentioned light heat helps a bunch.

Took it out for the first spin today. Fired her up and pulled it out. Have the idle mix screw one turn out made a big difference in how it ran and sounded...

At first whenever I put it into gear it would die. Tried it in second and it worked better. As I rode this issue slowly resolved itself. Front brake seems to be working well. Tire came back from Honda dealer (they said it was fine?!

and held air for two days).

Still waiting on a solenoid and have to wire start button again. But it kicks over like a champ.
I still have carb peeing problems as well. I think I may need to take them off again and reclean and make sure all passages are clear. It did run much much better.

I also will need new airbox boots or a new air cleaner system all together. My boots are toasted.

I felt the pipes after running them and am pretty sure cylinder 3 isn't firing. Tomorrow I am going to pick up some new plugs as well to make sure they are no issue as well.

I have a king/queen seat that is torn to hell on it which I need to find a replacement for. Something CHEAP.

Despite the challenges, this bike is a hell of a lot closer to being a driver than it was when I pulled it out of the shed 3 weeks ago.

Checked for spark on plug three, looked sweet. Also pulled bowl to check for fuel and there was fuel for sure. Why might that cylinder not have fired? The pop was not as hot as the others at all.
